Let your imagination run wild with this writing competition because that’s the only guidance we’re going to give you, apart from keeping the theme of Christmas in there!
We know that our members will rise to the challenge and be inspired to write some wonderful, poignant, surprising and maybe even spine-tingling stories.
Simply keep your stories down to under 1,000 words and you can send them in by email to ycacentraloffice@gmail.com. You can also send your stories to us typewritten. We’re sorry but we can’t return your paper entries – so make sure you keep a copy.
The winner will receive a selection of YCA branded goodies including travel mug, tea towel, diary and torch pen.
Entries must be with us no later than midnight on Monday 30 November so please get writing. Only paid current members of the YCA are eligible to enter.
And don’t forget, we’ll print a selection of the best entries and the winner in the run-up to Christmas in our special festive newsletter.
